About the event
A recurring speaking symposium in which we zone into various subjects from the perspective of the academia, the designer and the industry. The theme 'Slow Making’ is dedicated to exploring the value of local craftsmanship, mindful use of materials, and the importance of thoughtfulness in a modern context. We will delve into the philosophical, practical, and aesthetic aspects of making things slowly, showcasing how a focus on process over product can lead to more meaningful outcomes.
The theme of this year is aligned with Copenhagen Architecture Biennale (CafX), ‘Slow down’. Maker is participating with a pavilion named “textile topography" as part of the biennale, and this event will take place as an extension of this installation.
