Ungesporet

Ungesporet is a two-year initiative by maker, giving young people access to tools, space, and a creative community. Based in LITRA, maker’s workshop space in Jernbanebyen, the project lowers the barrier to physical creation by offering a place where learning happens through practice, working with materials, machines, and community.

Through different activities, young people aged 16–30 can gain hands-on experience with crafts, design, and product development. The formats range from beginner-friendly introductions to more in-depth programmes, supporting both first-time participants and those developing their own projects, while building skills and confidence.

SPEAKING OF: SYMPOSIUMS

A symposium series where we gather industry voices, designers and thinkers to share ideas, inspiration, and reflections on how making can drive social and environmental change.

COME TO: OPEN LAB DAYS

Offers low-barrier access to making where participants can explore tools, materials, and techniques side by side with others. Perfect for a crea-afternoon with your friends.

CRAFT: WORKSHOPS

A set of workshops, which introduces traditional skills like weaving, paper-making or furniture upholstering, with the guidance of a selected designer who specialises in the field.

GROW: RESIDENCY

A talent program that will run over 3 months to support a group of young creators with mentorship, free workspace, material budget and the chance to present their projects publicly.

DEEP DIVE: SPECIALIST SESSIONS

For those ready to dive deeper, these sessions will bring small groups together with professionals to prototype, experiment, and learn across disciplines - focused on a specific skill or tool.

IN SEARCH OF: COURAGE
A concluding event will be held at LITRA, makers dedicated workshop facilities, to present young voices from sectors such as music, art, democracy, and culture.

Building confidence

Ungesporet runs from November 2025 to July 2027 and will engage young people through a continuous programme of activities. With a mix of open lab days, workshops, courses, specialist sessions, and residency programmes, the initiative creates multiple entry points to craftsmanship.

By bringing people together across disciplines and levels of experience, Ungesporet aims to strengthen both individual capabilities and collective learning, giving young people the confidence, networks, and practical skills to take their ideas further.

The project is supported by Tuborgfondet with DKK 3.5 million.
